BOOM! New stuff to kick-off 2017!
I’ve been REALLY pumped up the past couple weeks — behind the scenes, we’ve been on a roll and we’re finally ready to start unveiling the things we’ve been working on for you!
BeyondTheWhiteboard integrated into the Daily WOD
From now on, when you go to the “Blog & WOD” menu and click “Today’s WOD” you will be taken to a page that populates three things:
1 – Today’s training for the CrossFit class.
2 – The men and women’s “Leaderboard” for the workout
3 – Any results that have been posted to BTWB recently for that day’s training
Clicking on the “Recent WOD Results” link will take you to the logging page! If you don’t want to go through the browser, make sure you have the app (click HERE for the free download).
If you don’t have a BTWB account, please see a staff member to get set-up. Do NOT set one up yourself…it will ask you to pay a monthly subscription (one of the benefits of CFME is that we pay for your subscription as long as you are a member).
We want EVERYONE to log their daily workouts in BeyondTheWhiteboard! It is, hands-down, the best online tracker for fitness progress — which is why I’ve worked so hard to get it integrated directly into the website for you — and it will help the coaching staff serve you better!
*We are currently still working on getting the “Competition” programming to be displayed. We are hoping to start populating this next week!
Merging the Fitness & Performance tracks
CrossFit classes will advertise one workout, but we will modify and scale it to suit your individual capacity and needs. It used to be that Fitness and Performance tracks had slightly divergent goals but, with the addition of the WORK program, it is no longer necessary.
In the coming months, you will see the “Level” posters updated and, combined with the Movement Hierarchies flowchart, guide your development and scaling during the workouts. If you have any questions about any of this, please ask a coach! We’re here for YOU 😉
Rewarding Loyal Members and Promoters of MaxEffort!
I love being able to come up with ways to reward my customers — especially the ones who are loyal, who make serving them easy, and who grow our community by referring their friends.
It started with our Referral Program: Singing someone up at MaxEffort is a big deal and I wanted to give a really “kick-ass” bonus to a member who signed up one of their friends. That’s where the “Give $100 – Get $100” program came from (if you don’t know about it, click the Refer a Friend link at the bottom of the page)!
BUT NOW, we have an actual REWARDS PROGRAM that is up and running as of today! Our new management software allows us to track certain actions and reward you points, which you can then turn in for FREE services and discounts at MaxEffort! Here’s a quick breakdown of what you can get:
- 1,000 points = 30% off anything in the Retail store
- 2,500 points = FREE Skill Session with ANY coach (based on availability)!
- 5,000 points = 1 FREE Month of WORK or BUILD membership!
- 7,000 points = 1 FREE Month of CrossFit membership!
The best thing about this is you get points from doing things you would do ANYWAY! You get points for the following actions:
- Attending ANY class (2 points)
- Booking your class online (5 points)
- Attending 4 classes per week (20 bonus points)
- Attending 20 classes per month (100 bonus points)
- Buying memberships or retail items (1 point for every dollar…yes, even for your month membership!)
- Nutrition or Individual Programming (50 points every time)
- Writing a review (150 points, 250 points if you share it on FB or Twitter!)
- Sharing anything on FB or Twitter (25 bonus points)
- On your birthday or setting up a profile in WellnessLiving system (50 points)
I did the math and the average member can earn over 340 points per month JUST from booking online and going to class 4 times per week. If they buy protein, shirts, programming, or write a review it’s even more!
You can keep track of how many points you have by logging into your account through the WellnessLiving app called “Achieve” (download by clicking the link)!
