  • Zach Forrest

Head Coach, Owner & Director of Culture

Owner, Director of Culture, and Head Coach Zach Forrest has been training CrossFit since 2005.  He started it in the Navy while completing BUD/S Training. “Eventually, I utilized it to train myself and other SEALs until I left the military,” he says. “I started coaching civilians when we opened the first CrossFit affiliate in Las Vegas in 2008.”

Zach loves being a part of his members’ journey toward more self-awareness and confidence as a result of training. “On a daily basis, I get to witness my members overcome and break through preconceived limitations…both physical and emotional,” he says. “It keeps me motivated to make sure they have the best experience possible while at Max Effort.”

Zach competed in several competitions, including the CrossFit Games as an individual in 2009, 2011, and 2013.

“She assured me it was totally different and I would love it,” Erica says. “Well, she was right! I had previous coaching experience with gymnastics, and my personality was a good fit for this sort of thing.”

Erica is the Affiliate Manager at the West location.  She is fanatical about health & fitness and does her best to practice what she preaches at the gym. She loves seeing her members achieve their goals, and her motto is “Fall down seven times, get up eight.”

Nik specializes in competitive CrossFit and has plenty of competition experience under his belt. He was a 6-year-old state champion in BMX, played college football, and placed 1st at WODAPALOOZA in 2014. His favorite quote is “Hecht Yeah.”

  • Jeanne Forrest

    Director of Details

“I was a late bloomer when it came to fitness and nutrition.  My entire young adult life was dedicated to taking care of everyone but myself and it showed.  At 35, I tipped the scale at 245 and, at 5” 1”, saying I was obese and out-of-shape would have been an understatement.  After years of yo-yo dieting and “cardio” I was introduced to CrossFit by my son Zach and it challenged me to change my life by getting me into the gym regularly.  And change it did…until life resurfaced.  Truth is I am the poster child for letting ‘life’ get in the way of my fitness goals.  Not anymore!

Today, nutrition and optimizing health through clean eating, clean living and CrossFit is my passion.  I have restructured my life to put an emphasis on these things and there will be NO MORE INTERFERENCE!  Let the games begin!”

As the Director of Details, Jeanne handles everything ADMIN!  From accounts and memberships to retail and payroll — she does it all!
